Barbecued Green Beans

Barbecued Green Beans

4 C. Green Beans

 1 sm. Onion

 6 slices of Bacon-fried or raw-crumbled

 1 C. Ketchup

¾ C. Brown Sugar

Fresh or frozen beans maybe used, but must be cooked for 5-10 minutes. Mix all ingredients and bake in covered dish at 350* for 1 hour. Enjoy!!

Oh, yummm. These are so good, and are the only way my Hubby will eat them at the table. And they are so simple to make.  I have also made them ‘fast’ by just heating them with the sauce on the stove. The flavor isn’t through them as much, but it is still really good. Also a scissors works really well in cutting raw bacon. And you will not want to use raw bacon if you are just heating on the stove top. I also like to put this in a crockpot and let heat on low for several hours. It’s a great ‘pot-luck’ food.
