God’s Everlasting Arms

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. -Deut. 33:27

In God’s arms we find strength to continue on. When things happen and we don’t understand ‘why’. The challenges that lie before us, which seem so daunting and overwhelming, may leave us feeling weak and weary. The difficulties of life may threaten to sweep us away. ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint’. -Is 40:31

In God’s arms we find comfort. When our hearts are crushed and wounded by sorrows and disappointments, we can lean hard upon ‘the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation’ -2 Cor. 1:3-4

In God’s arms we can find rest and peace. In a troubled world, full of strife and conflict, we can possess calm, serene inner rest of the soul that only the Lord can give. Whatever the troubles around us, we are kept by that wonderful ‘peace of God, which passeth all understanding.’ -Phil. 4:7

In God’s arms we find security and protection. ‘He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.’ -Ps 91:1

God is able to sustain me, nothing is too hard for Him. His arms are but a step of faith away!!!

‘All that keep close to Him will be safely kept by Him.’
