I was asked a few times for this recipe, so I will quick post it. And sorry, no picture of the cookies.:( Maybe next time I make them I can get some before they are gone. (They go fast around here!!)
I don’t even remember where I got the original recipe, but I have revamped it so much, it might as well be called my own anyway!!
2 Sticks of Butter melted
3/4 C. Honey
1 C. Sugarfree Applesauce
5 C. Flour – I use fresh ground spelt, but other flours will work too. If you do use a g/f flour, you may want to add another egg. Spelt is lower in gluten, which is why I use it. And if using Whole Wheat flour, you may not need the whole 5 cups. Just figure out what works for you.
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Mix into the creamed mixture. And then fold in 1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes.
